A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Jessica Simkins spent her early career as a veterinary technician before working for two decades in the nonprofit theatre arena as a production stage manager, managing director, and professor of theatre. Jessica transitioned to the role of Marketing Director for PMB in 2021. She is excited to bring her unique background to the PMB team. Jessica holds an MFA in stage management from the University of Kansas City-MO and a BA in theatre with a minor in Arts Administration from the College of Charleston. A South Carolina native, Jessica currently lives in Cherry Hill, New Jersey with her husband, two children, and dog where they enjoy swimming, hiking, and gardening. She is an AmeriCorps Alum with a passion for early childhood education, animals, and volunteerism. Jessica serves on the Board of Directors for the Myhre Syndrome Foundation, a nonprofit which fuels research and awareness for the ultra rare genetic disorder.
